Governance

View moreThe AEMT is The Association of Electrical and Mechanical Trades founded in 1945. It is an International Association representing companies in the electrical and mechanical service and repair industry.
AEMT Organisations keep the wheels of industry turning by repairing, maintaining and installing rotating electrical machinery. Their work ensures that energy is efficiently generated for lighting, water is reliably pumped to households, and conveyor belts continue to produce goods. By maintaining efficiency, AEMT organisations help ensure materials remain in circulation for as long as possible, significantly reducing the demand for new raw materials and supporting a more sustainable future.
The AEMT are passionate about maintaining, and the craft of rewinding, repairing, and renewing, rotating electro-mechanical equipment and ancillaries to enhance and reuse them.
We aim to underpin a circular economy by reducing industrial product and energy waste, nurturing, and championing the use of best practice.
And our vision is a safe, productive, reliable, and efficient world in which to prosper by following international standards.
