Understanding the Latest Edition of IEC 60079-19

If you work with Ex equipment, whether you're in a repair facility, on the maintenance team, or part of an end-user operation - this webinar is for you.

Join Karl Metcalfe, AEMT’s Lead Trainer & Technical Advisor and rotating machine repair specialist, along with Peter Rawlinson, a respected expert in the Ex industry, for an in-depth look at what the upcoming changes to IEC 60079-19 mean for you.

What will be covered?

The new edition of IEC 60079-19—the key standard governing the repair and overhaul of Ex equipment—is set to replace the 2019 version. This session will focus on what’s changing, how those changes could affect repairers and end users, and what you can do to prepare.

Why attend?

At the AEMT, we believe in creating space for open discussion. Our goal is to make sure members and industry professionals feel confident asking questions and raising concerns when standards evolve. By understanding changes together, we ensure the repair industry stays informed and ready to respond effectively.

How might this affect you?

  • Will the updated standard impact your business operations?
  • What do end users need to be aware of?
  • When will these changes come into effect?

Karl and Peter will be answering these questions and more. Don't miss the opportunity to stay ahead of the curve.

Join us on Friday 4th April at 09:00 BST and be part of the conversation.
