Electric Motors

The Association of Electrical and Mechanical Trades (AEMT) has a specialized focus on the maintenance, repair, and renewal of rotating electro-mechanical equipment, including electric motors. Members of AEMT are well-equipped to handle various aspects of electric motor management, from manufacturing and distribution to installation and repair.

AEMT members offer comprehensive asset management services, employing condition monitoring techniques to ensure optimal performance of electric motors. This involves regular inspections, predictive maintenance, and data analysis to preemptively address issues before they escalate into critical failures.

In the event of emergencies, AEMT members provide 24-hour emergency services to quickly address and resolve any issues related to electric motors. This is particularly crucial in sectors like power generation, water supply, and oil & gas, where downtime can have significant operational and financial impacts.

Additionally, AEMT's commitment to environmental sustainability and a circular economy is evident in their approach to electric motor refurbishment. Over 75% of materials are reused or recycled during the process, minimizing waste and extending the lifespan of the equipment.

Through technical support, training, and networking opportunities provided by the association, AEMT members stay abreast of the latest industry best practices and technologies, ensuring that they are well-prepared to handle electric motors in the most efficient and sustainable manner.
