Rotamec's Ryan Davis awarded Rising Star Award
Rotamec have long realised that the best way to get the strongest talent into the industry is to grow their own and with school leavers looking at other avenues than University to get into full time employment the apprenticeship programme has become an excellent way for individuals like Ryan to achieve this.Ryan has received a rounded training programme including day release at Bridgwater College allowing him to obtain a level 3 NVQ diploma in CNC Machining as well as learning and earning on the job.
In 2016, Ryan completed this course and was promoted to the Machine shop supervisor and now manages a team of 2 other machinists. Ryan’s duties include, visiting sites where needed, ordering, skillfully producing CAD drawings, operating our CNC machines, project work and quoting to name a few.
